Mike Ilitch School of Business

Giving Day contributions of every size make a major difference! Support one of these projects today or give to another area that helps the Mike Ilitch School of Business.

Alumni Council Student Experience Fund

Double your impact: The Ilitch School Alumni Council is matching every dollar given to the Alumni Council Student Experience fund up to $2,818. This fund supports student-focused projects and needs as they arise, and it is a unique opportunity to sustain some of the Ilitch School’s most engaging and innovative programing. Examples include pitch competitions (elevator, sales and tax case), student award celebrations and study abroad programs.

Fund Supply Chain Research to Help Farmers in Tamil Nadu, India

Give to the Study Abroad annual fund to support amazing faculty-led research projects such as the below partnership with the nationally ranked Ilitch School Department of Global Supply Chain!

COVID-19 has had a disproportionate impact on the people of Tamil Nadu - a state on the southeast coast of India. Forty percent of the population farms land that is 5 acres in size on average, and they are not able to move their produce to market. The fund will support faculty and student travel to Tamil Nadu to conduct research on improving the agriculture supply chain, to help address COVID-19 and to build a more sustainable future.

*Travel will resume as soon as it is deemed safe in accordance with federal restrictions and university policy. In the meantime, our staff and faculty have been leading virtual abroad engagements and preparing for these future opportunities.

Learning AND Launching Careers

Help our students launch their marketing and advertising careers by giving to the Marketing Department annual fund. This fund directly impacts students by providing opportunities such as the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s) EDU membership. This membership provides all Ilitch Business students access to information on careers in advertising, networking opportunities with industry experts, access to 4A’s studies, custom research databases and more. Help get our students career ready.

Student Hardship Fund

The Mike Ilitch School of Business Student Hardship Fund offers limited emergency financial assistance to currently enrolled students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship related to an unexpected situation. The fund is designated to offset short-term financial need and is not intended to replace or supplement financial aid. Awards are not considered loans and do not require repayment.
