Giving Day contributions of every size make a major difference! Support one of these projects today or give to another area that helps the School of Social Work. The Board of Visitors is matching every dollar given in support of the two highlighted projects- scholarships and emergency scholarships - up to $4,750, and an anonymous donor will match every gift dollar for dollar to ANY School of Social Work fund through 2:00 pm EST!
School of Social Work Scholarships
At the Wayne State University School of Social Work, bachelor’s students are graduating with an average of $60,000 in student debt, while master’s students leave with nearly $65,000 in debt. And the cost of higher education continues to rise.
School of Social Work Emergency Scholarships
These emergency funds are used for students who have a debt that inhibits their ability to register for classes. Some students may have a small balance on their account that prevents them from re-enrolling. This fund helps to bridge that gap.
Wayne State faculty and staff can give via payroll deduction here.
