Youth Summer Academy
The College of Engineering offers several camps designed to teach elementary, middle and high school students skills in engineering and in computer and information science. Through these camps, our faculty and students inspire the next generation of engineers and computer scientists. Camps are offered for students ages 7 to 17, from June through August. In 2018, the college impacted the lives of more than 500 K-12 students through its summer programs.
Nancy Philippart and Thomas McGrail Center for Global Engineering Education
The newly established Center provides engineering students with a life-changing experience in four key areas: study abroad, global research, international internships and international service learning. The Center brings together students, faculty and international partners resulting in new global engineering leaders, as well as accelerated growth of new businesses and jobs. With today’s contributions, a global experience for engineering students will be provided so they can become global citizens, able to navigate diverse cultures and economies around the world and develop global perspectives that lead to innovation.
Engineering Student Success Fund
The College of Engineering prepares the next generation of professionals to create and discover solutions to multidisciplinary challenges. Our students become leaders in helping improve the quality of life in their communities through innovation, collaboration and determination. To support students in this work, the college guides them in creating educational experiences within several high-impact areas: Hands-on Experience, Undergraduate Research, Co-ops and Internships, and Community Engagement. Help Dean Fotouhi support student success by contributing to this fund today.
