Alumni Scholarships and Awards

Each year, gifts to support alumni programs enable us to recognize current students and recent alumni with scholarships and awards. Student scholarships and awards recognize scholastic achievement and campus involvement, encourage continued progress and help students finance their education at Wayne State University.

 

Organization of Black Alumni (OBA)

Double your dollars! OBA is matching Giving Day donations to two crucial funds — up to $250 each. Choose to support one or both of the following:

  • Wayne State Black Business Student Association
  • Detroit Public School District Endowed Scholarship

The Organization of Black Alumni celebrates the stories of Wayne State's African American and Black alumni, fostering lifelong connections with the university through programs, events, volunteer activities, resources and communications.

 

Future Alumni Network

Distinguished student leaders who represent the University during alumni events, foster a connection between alumni and students, and create a culture of philanthropy on campus, the Future Alumni Network represents the WSU Division of Development and Alumni Affairs with the highest level of integrity, professionalism and university spirit.The Alumni Advisory Council is matching every gift in support of the Future Alumni Network up to $500 today!

There are many ways to support your alma mater and its alumni programs. WSU alumni have a proud history of giving back to their university, and we're grateful for your ongoing support. Donations to alumni programs support our university and enable us to sustain a strong organization to serve the university and its graduates.
