Engineering Student Success Fund
The College of Engineering prepares the next generation of professionals to create and discover solutions to multidisciplinary challenges. Our students become leaders in helping improve the quality of life in their communities through innovation, collaboration and determination. To support students in this work, the college guides them in creating educational experiences within several high-impact areas: Hands-on Experience, Undergraduate Research, Co-ops and Internships, and Community Engagement. Today only, the College of Engineering Alumni Council is matching every dollar given in support of the Engineering Student Success Fund — up to $1,000!
K-12 Outreach Programs
Engineering K-12 outreach focuses on using the college's resources to provide a foundation for future engineers. Partnerships focus on collaborative interactions with community partners for the exchange, exploration and application of knowledge, information and resources. Some major initiatives in this area are the engineering and computer summer camps, Future Society of Women Engineers events, the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP), and the high school dual enrollment program.
College of Engineering Scholarships
Scholarships empower our students to focus on what's most important: the future. The College of Engineering is fortunate to have a community of alumni and donors who support deserving students with additional scholarships. Most of these undergraduate scholarships are targeted at students who have completed at least one term as an engineering student and demonstrate a combination of academic achievement, leadership and financial need, although financial need is not required for all college scholarships.
