The financial stability of the Junior Year in Munich (JYM) program is essential for ensuring there are high-quality, German-language study-abroad programs for future generations of Wayne State students. Giving Day contributions of every size make a major difference, especially during this pandemic! Please support one of these funds today.
Junior Year in Munich Operating Fund
JYM is funded primarily by tuition revenue, which has been severely reduced this past year. We need your help as we recruit students for Fall 2021. Donations to the Junior Year in Munich Operating Fund benefit all aspects of the program immediately and help us sustain and grow our program to full capacity once again.
Söder-Ferguson Next Generation JYM Endowed Fund
The ultimate goal of the fund is to cover a large portion of JYM operating costs on an annual basis, in perpetuity. This fund is named in honor of current JYM resident director in Munich, Professor Hans-Peter Söder, and former JYM program director, Professor Mark Ferguson. Gifts to the endowed fund will help us keep student costs as low as possible, and help us to weather storms, for generations to come.
Wayne State faculty and staff can give via payroll deduction here. Consider a WSU legacy gift in your estate plan.
